This Privacy Policy describes how MoldPro Inc., doing business as MoldPro Laboratory Plasticware / our B2B warehouse storefront, collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account, place orders, or otherwise interact with our B2B services (collectively, the Services).

We primarily serve business customers in the United States and Canada. This Policy is intended to align with common North American privacy expectations, including principles under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), applicable Canadian provincial laws (including Quebec’s Law 25 where it applies), and U.S. state consumer privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), as applicable.

This Policy is provided for transparency and operational compliance. It is not legal advice. Please have your counsel review and customize it for your entity, locations, and practices.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we collect through:

  • Our website and online B2B store (including account registration, login, cart, and checkout)
  • Customer service, sales, and account management communications
  • Order fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, and payment processing
  • Tax-exemption or reseller documentation you provide
  • Optional marketing or service emails (where permitted)

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control, even if linked from our site.

Business contact information: Much of what we collect relates to your role at a company (e.g., work email, shipping dock address, AP contact). Where information identifies an individual, we treat it as personal information under this Policy.


3. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

3.1 Account and identity information

  • Name, username, password (stored in hashed form by our platform)
  • Work email address and phone number
  • Company / organization name and role or title (if provided)
  • Account status (e.g., pending approval, approved B2B customer)

3.2 Business and credit-related information

  • Company details, tax ID / EIN / business number (when provided by you or our sales team)
  • Requested or approved credit limits and payment terms
  • Tax exemption / resale certificates and related documentation
  • Purchase order numbers and special order instructions

3.3 Order, shipping, and billing information

  • Billing and shipping addresses (including alternate / dropship addresses)
  • Order contents, warehouse fulfillment details, and order history
  • Carrier preferences and shipping account numbers you choose to provide
  • Payment method details processed by our payment providers (we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers when cards are processed by a PCI-compliant provider)
  • Invoices, statements, and payment history

3.4 Communications

  • Messages you send to sales or support
  • Records of emails, calls, or chats related to your account or orders

3.5 Technical and usage information

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring/exit pages, dates/times of access
  • Approximate location derived from IP address
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 8)

3.6 Information from others

  • Information our sales staff enter while setting up or updating your B2B account
  • Shipping carriers and payment processors (delivery status, payment confirmation)
  • Public or commercial sources used for fraud prevention or credit evaluation, where permitted

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what is needed for B2B commerce (for example, we do not seek Social Security numbers for ordinary website registration). Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not required for your account or orders.


4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage B2B customer accounts (including approval workflows)
  • Process, fulfill, ship, invoice, and support orders
  • Verify tax-exempt status and apply tax rules where appropriate
  • Manage credit terms, payment collection, and account receivables
  • Communicate about orders, accounts, product availability, and service issues
  • Improve website security, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot the Services
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
  • Send service or marketing communications where permitted by law (you may opt out of marketing emails)
  • Analyze aggregated usage to improve products and the online store experience

Legal bases / purposes (Canada): We collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, generally with consent (express or implied) or as otherwise permitted or required by law (e.g., fulfilling a contract, fraud prevention, legal compliance).


5. How we share personal information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who help operate our business (website hosting, e-commerce platform, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, customer support tools, cloud storage)
  • Shipping carriers and logistics partners to deliver orders
  • Warehouses and fulfillment partners involved in order processing
  • Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) under confidentiality obligations
  • Credit / collections partners where needed to manage credit accounts, as permitted
  • Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used under CCPA/CPRA. If that practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-out mechanisms.

Service providers are expected to use personal information only to perform services for us and to protect it appropriately.


6. Cross-border transfers

We operate in North America. Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States, Canada, and/or other countries where our service providers operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws in your province or state.

Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards for cross-border processing. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations as described here.


7. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Active account and order administration
  • Warranty, returns, dispute, and customer-service needs
  • Tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping periods
  • Fraud prevention and security

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to backup and legal hold limitations.


8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in and remember cart / checkout progress
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse
  • Understand how the site is used (analytics)
  • Remember preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality (for example, remaining logged in or completing checkout).

9. Your privacy rights

9.1 Canada (PIPEDA and provincial laws)

Subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

Quebec (Law 25): If Quebec privacy law applies to you, you may have additional rights regarding access, rectification, withdrawal of consent, and de-indexation in certain cases. Contact us using the details in Section 1. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

9.2 United States (including California / CCPA-CPRA)

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to:

  • Know / access categories and specific pieces of personal information collected
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information (if applicable)
  • Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (if applicable)
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights

How to exercise rights: Email [customerservice@labwaredirect.com] or write to the address in Section 1. We may need to verify your identity (and, for agents, your authorization) before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Authorized agents (California): You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, subject to verification requirements.

Appeals: If we deny a request where your state law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with Privacy Appeal in the subject line.


10. Marketing communications (CASL / CAN-SPAM)

We may send transactional messages related to your account or orders. Separately, we may send commercial / marketing emails where permitted.

  • Canada (CASL): We send commercial electronic messages based on consent or other lawful exceptions and include an unsubscribe mechanism.
  • United States (CAN-SPAM): Marketing emails identify us as the sender and include a working unsubscribe option.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional order/account messages.


11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (for example, encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will provide notices required by applicable law.


12. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.


13. Automated decision-making

We may use limited automated tools for fraud prevention, security, or credit-related workflows. Significant account decisions (such as B2B approval or credit terms) are generally reviewed by our staff. Contact us if you have questions about a decision affecting your account.


14. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party sites (carriers, payment pages, social media, etc.). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies.


15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or communicated by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
